The Carnarvon Levees Remedial Works project for Water Corporation in Carnarvon involved extensive scope including excavation of downstream levee, importation, placement, and compaction of clean fill and gravel, importation and placement of rock armour, installation of a 2m deep cement-stabilised trench, and erection of a perimeter fence.
Highlights of the project included the importation of 4,500 tonnes of clay/gravel and 3,200 tonnes of rock to fortify the levee system. The project was successfully completed three weeks ahead of schedule, showcasing efficient project management and execution.
