The Gap Ridge Industrial Development Stage 5A & 5B project encompassed extensive bulk earthworks and civil works. This included material delivery, infill and levelling, construction of retaining walls, subdivisional roadworks, footpaths, stormwater drainage, and recycled water infrastructure to Local Authority Standards. Services were installed to Authority standards, covering water and sewerage reticulation, communication services, and power provisions.
Highlights of the project include the successful management of multiple disciplines to ensure efficient completion. Collaborative efforts with Development WA resulted in the procurement of cost-effective local fill material meeting construction specifications. The project also achieved significant environmental benefits by sourcing locally produced fill materials, thereby reducing the delivery carbon footprint associated with the construction activities.
