The Jora Ponds project involved the construction of three new evaporation ponds, comprising two concentration ponds and one precipitation pond. Scope of work included extensive site clearing, base and embankment construction, gravel basecourse installation, pond liner installation, spillway construction, and fencing.

Highlights of the project include the import of 23,000 m³ of clean fill, screening and blending of 30,000 m³ of in situ material with imported fill for a cost-effective solution, preparation of 40,000 m² of subgrade, and installation of a 52,000 m² three-layer liner. The project was recognised with the Yara Supplier of the Year award and involved collaboration with Yara to address poor ground conditions using existing on-site materials.
