The Solomon Power Station Roadworks project for FMG at Solomon Mine involved comprehensive civil works for the new gas-fired power station’s internal roads and surrounding areas. Scope of work included base course installation, kerbing, spray seal and asphalt application, aggregate installation, and stormwater drainage implementation.
Highlights of the project included completing the work under budget, allowing for additional onsite activities to be undertaken. Efficient coordination with FMG’s subcontractors during the commissioning phase ensured smooth project execution and timely delivery.
